I haven’t written anything on this blog in forever. Actually, if you’re a follower, you’ll know that I’ve had two previous blogs, Thoughts from the Couch and Suicide Birds and Seahorses, but decided to start this new blog as a new chapter in my life. I don’t think I’ll start any new blogs because I’m really good at starting things but not very good at finishing things, just ask my husband. But I’m back! And this going to post daily, maybe even several times a day. You see, I’m a crazy creative; one of those people who is constantly starting projects and has tons and tons of ideas running through my mind. Yeah…an ideas guy. I like that one better.
Actually I am pretty good at following up with stuff. I’ve stayed clean and sober for a hell of a long time. I’m really good at long term relationships. I’m really good at not starting diets and staying committed to always starting tomorrow. I don’t like the ends of songs or movies, so there’s that. The problem is I have so many crazy things going on that I think starting something new is a perfect distraction. First, I have my private practice. (For any questions on that check out my business website!) I feel so blessed to have amazing clients and to be able to work the hours I want to work.
And then there’s my website raannt which I co-own and operate with my husband. Raannt? What is raannt? Raannt is an online men’s lifestyle magazine focusing on celebrity interviews and daily music and style posts. It is just about the coolest thing in the world to interview famous people who I’m enamored with and ask them anything I want. It is also equally awesome to get tons of fan mail from readers asking about my life experiences.
And then there is my YouTube channel pemovision. And theboysofraannt YouTube channel with my husband. I am also in the final editing stages of my first novel and beginning stages of putting together a book of my mother’s journals. I also have daily television shows to watch and three dogs to father. There isn’t much time in the day, but I do find time daily for a 2-3 hour nap.
Every day, I read, nap, watch tv, talk to PR agents and celebrities, go to AA meetings, eat good food, meet with awesome clients, obsess over social media, take cool pictures, listen to great music, dance, laugh, cry and play. Life is really good.
And now…I’m going to add something more to the mix. I think I’ve decided to do a podcast. I’m not really sure how but I’m learning. As I write this I’m listening to a YouTube video about “how to make a podcast”. You can learn how to do anything on YouTube, from removing shower scum to tying a bow tie! Life is kinda like YouTube. You can find anything you want and make it whatever you want if you search hard enough.
So yeah, that’s about it. If you have something you’d like me to write about or blog about or podcast about or whatever, let me have it!
